Idea for illegal immigrants in our jails

A while ago my husband was telling me about a story he heard. I don't know if it is true because I haven't been able to find any information to back it up. Nonetheless, he told me he heard that Chicago's fire departments had change some protocols in regards to putting out fires vs. letting them burn. He explained that supposedly if the fire is to dangerous and there is no one in the building, they will control the fire so it doesn't spread but let it burn the building up rather than risk the lives of their men. Again, I have no idea if this is factual but it got me thinking.

My husband is a Supervisor in the Corrections department of our county. He works in the reception section, so basically he knows a lot about who comes in and out of the prison. As far as our county is concerned, he can speak pretty well on the status of illegal immigrants in our jail. I didn't go so far as to ask how many illegals are in their right at the moment but he did mention that he has approx. 10 being deported every week. He didn't give me how many were coming in and how many were already there, he just gave me how many were being deported.

I would love to take a look at how much we are spending on illegal immigrants in our jails. I mean on all levels - Federal, State & County (local). I believe the amount of tax money being spent on illegals in jail should be used to deport them. And while we figure out the cost effectiveness of how much money it takes to house illegals in the prisons, I think it would also be a good idea to throw in how much money the crime they committed cost. For example, if they were in a car accident - what are the chances they are going to have insurance? My hubby just receive a guy the other day that plowed into a family in a van. He was busted and of course went to jail but now the family he hit - their insurance will have to cover not only the damage to the car but their medical bills should they incur any. I am sure the insurance companies would be extremely grateful to the government because of the money they and their customers would be saving.

Next thing to look at is how many are repeat offenders. There are some stories out there - I don't know how much they have changed but I have read articles (of course you can never find them when you need them) that informed the public on the difficulty of deportation from local agencies and therefore would have illegals coming back to jail as repeat offenders.

This site has loads of information and counters on how much money is going out of the country and our resources being used up by immigrants here illegally. The above is just one aspect and one of the most important because it deals with citizens and there safety.

If their respective governments will not honor our punishment of them for their crimes, then the the criminals should, at regular intervals, be rounded up and put on a C-130 (or C-5 if there's enough of them) and fly them to some randomly remote airstrip in their country of origin that is as far away from the United States as possible.
