It's Amazing....

I am continually amazed by so many diffrent people and events in our daily lives and by most accounts I probably shouldn't be, but I am. There are something that do make me say "huh, never thought of that" and there are somethings where I say "huh" because I am at a total loss and couldn't possibly think of anything to say - at least anything nice. And I do live by the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say....", well you probably know the rest. At least I try to most of the time.

Unfortunatly, there is plenty of thing that amaze me but not in the good sense of the word. Let me use the most recent example that just happened that I was a witness to....

Last night I was at my dance class and the owner decided that we were going to perform outside. What we were doing was Halloween related - why not. It is a small Main Street type community - it would be fun.

We had just finished performing and were kind of just standing around getting ready for the other group to go on and there was a crash, a thump and then the sound of a car accelerating. It was a pedestrian vs. car hit and run. A man was standing, waiting for the cars to pass so he could get into his car and a car, as far as we could tell, swerved into the parked car and broke off the side mirror then hit the man waiting to get into his car.

Most of us were not paying attention so we saw the aftermath. Thankfully, there were quite a few people around and like I said the town is small, so the call to the police and the response time of the ambulance were extremely short.

What amazes me and I know it shouldn't but it truly does amaze me that the driver hit not just a car but a person, a human being and ran. I have heard of this happening, never seen it until now, but they guy was on the ground knocked out not moving.

There is a special place in hell for the driver!!

This little space!

Space seems to be something I lack in my life. When I think about it there is just not enough space to go around and the world is getting smaller and smaller by the day.

Space....think about it - Do you have as much space as you did 10 years ago?

Now, when I say space, I mean in general terms. Unless you do not buy into the new technology (which if you are reading this, you have in someway shape or form), you probably own a computer, a cell phone, maybe some sort of navigational system in your car, who knows. The point is, your space is significantly smaller because no matter where you someone else can find that out or get a hold of you or get you to where you need to go. Which is great sometimes but you know, sometimes it gets to be a little much.

Couple that with just the amount of people we have in our world, state, area we live - you are lucky to have to have a little space to call your own. In our house you can't sit and go to the bathroom in private anymore without a little face pressing a crack in the door wanting to talk to you.

It's humorous!
